A beautiful pair of vintage clip on earrings, for pierced or non-pierced ears. This beautiful pair are made of solid 14ct yellow gold, and feature amazing colour change sapphires. These sapphires are primarily purple, and change to have blue hues in different lighting situations. A lovely quality oval shaped pair, the faceted sapphires shimmer and look amazing in the decorated engraved bezel border.
The clips are strong and secure. However, these earrings would be easily converted to a hook style or stud style for pierced ears if desired, our goldsmith could do this on request for a minimal cost.
Each earring is 1.4 cms in height, from the top of the clip to the bottom of the drop, and measures 10mms in width. Together the earrings weigh 3.8 grams. They are unmarked but have been tested and verified as solid 14ct Gold. The sapphires have been tested and verified as genuine using a Presidium Gemstone Tester.
In very good vintage condition, with just some light tarnish and faint surface scratches. these earrings have been professionally cleaned and polished. They are ready to wear or to give as a gift. Please see the photos.
