The tunic has a spacious cut, keyhole opening at the neck, gussets under the sleeves and at the sides. The gussets under the arms ensure good freedom of movement!
This tunic can be worn alone, or together with the linen tunic Tor. You can find your size by measuring the chest circumference and checking the size guide.
The tunic is soft and comfortable to wear as the fabric is woven in diamond twill. A weaving method that has been identified in textiles dating back thousands of years and widely used in the Viking Age.
The design is based on a find from Birka (Sweden), 8.-9. century. Made of two rectangles and with square gussets under the armpits and gussets on the sides. Similar patterns were used in both the Skjoldehamn and Kragelund tunics.
The fabric has been washed before sewing, however it must be washed before use at 30 degrees, wool program as excess color may occur.
