This is a beautiful antique Art Deco 18ct gold ring. This standout design is unlike any we have seen before. The ring holds a perfect fancy kite cut sapphire, which is set into an elegant and minimal bezel setting, and is the most attractive shade of deep vibrant royal blue. The sapphire is accented perfectly with a white pearl at each compass point, and fine engraved border detailing in between these pearls. This ring is very large on the hand, with excellent finger coverage, it is Art Deco cocktail party elegance at it's very finest.
A beautiful and very stylish statement design, that is guaranteed to draw many admiring glances from across a room. It's a truly gorgeous ring, comfortable and low to the finger, lovely and smooth bezel settings with no claws that will catch.

Hallmarks: The ring is stamped clearly as 18ct Gold. It has a yellow gold band, and white gold accented gallery.

Weight: 4.9 grams
Face: 2.4 x 1.9 cms in size
Gemstone: 12 x 9.5 mms fancy kite cut blue sapphire, eastimated to be around 4cts. 2x (4.25mm) white pearls, and 2x (4mm) white pearls. We expect the the pearls are natural, but they are untested to avoid damage to them. We have tested this stone with a Presidium Gemstone Tester and have verified it as a real sapphire. We presume it is an early example of a lab created sapphire - rather than a natural grown sapphire. A lab-created sapphire has the exact chemical composition as a natural sapphire harvested from a traditional mine. Lab grown gemstones are typically perfect examples, with excellent clarity and colour.
In very good antique condition, with minimal light wear and surface scratches to the gold as to be expected from an antique item. This ring has been professonally cleaned and polished, ready for it's new home. Please see the photos.
